Bethany Nolet, owner of WAGS Canine Retreat, worked her entire career in the animal care and veterinary industry. She worked as kennel staff for several Veterinary clinics, and after earning her Registered Veterinary Technician diploma, worked for more than a decade in the field. Beth also completed a Master Dog Training apprenticeship program, and opened her own dog training school. She enjoyed a fun and varied career that included working in veterinary emergency clinics, teaching in the Vet Tech program, creating refresher seminars as Head Technician in a busy clinic, and even developing a canine first aid course. Beth knew that those years of experience in the veterinary and canine industries had made her exceptionally suited to run a boarding kennel.
Curtis is an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces Officer who grew up in northern Ontario where he learned about living and surviving in the wilderness with his family. He loves to pass down the skills he learned from them to their little boys, like canoeing, hiking and camping.
Ethan and Charlie are their two little boys—you may see them running about, screaming, or up high after climbing something they shouldn’t be. Don’t worry, they’re very friendly!
Gabe is their quintessential Golden Retriever, and holds the important position of General Manager of WAGS. Suspiciously he is always awarded Employee of the Month…
Owning a piece of property like this and running a boarding kennel has been a lifelong goal for Beth, and both her and Curtis are grateful to Kathy, Anjo and Come By Chance Kennels for the opportunity! Follow us on social media as we grow!
