Welcome to WAGS Canine Retreat!
Set on 75 picturesque acres of forest and fields, WAGS Canine Retreat offers the idyllic home away from home for your beloved pup. We are a family run operation, situated centrally between Ottawa, Brockville and Cornwall. Our state of the art facility was built with your dog’s utmost comfort, safety and security in mind, putting emphasis on creating the perfect ratio of fun and relaxation for each of our guests, personalizing every visit to the needs of each dog.
Here at WAGS, our only goal is to provide a safe, loving and fun place for your dog. Boredom doesn’t happen here—with The Bark Park and social time, who could be? The Bark Park is a fenced in playground full of play and agility equipment, with pools and water play in the warmer months. Not only that, you can choose to add forest walks through the kilometres of trails waiting to be explored!
When it’s time for a rest, our guests retire to their own personal indoor-outdoor suites (families can share a larger suite). The floors are heated inside and out with in-floor heating, and each room has a raised cot for extra comfort. The outdoor runs are covered for shade and fully secured. Soothing music is piped throughout, and the lights dimmed to promote relaxation. Access to the outdoor run is given all day if it’s nice weather, and offered regularly if not. The facility is ventilated with an HVAC system and has air conditioning for when things get a bit warm. A closed circuit camera system allows for 24/7 monitoring.
With a focus on delivering personalized service to each guest, whether it’s a quick visit or an extended stay, we ensure each dog is happy, healthy and having fun.
